Send your threats to your friends in Moscow – Ukrainian FM to Szijjártó

You can now send your complaints—and threats—to your friends in Moscow – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha wrote, reacting after his Hungarian counterpart, Péter Szijjártó sent a message to the Ukrainians, calling on them not to attack oil pipelines leading to Hungary, especially given that “electricity from Hungary plays a vital role in powering Ukraine”.

Sybiha pointed out that it was not Ukraine but Russia that started the war, and the Russians are the ones who aren't willing to end it. "Hungary has been told for years that Moscow is an unreliable partner. Despite this, Hungary has made every effort to maintain its reliance on Russia. Even after the full-scale war began" the Ukrainian Foreign Minister wrote on X.

Szijjártó had posted on Monday that oil deliveries to Hungary had been halted after the Ukrainians attacked a pipeline. The foreign minister called the attack "outrageous and unacceptable".

We have contacted the Mol Group to inquire about the attack. In response to our questions, Mol's communications director, Ambrus Halász, said that "technical repairs are underway, after which crude oil deliveries will resume." He added that "the security of the regional supplies remains guaranteed."
