Arte: Should Europe be banning more pesticides?

The reauthorization of a banned insecticide, also known as a bee killer, has sparked huge public outrage in France. While farmers fear for their competitiveness, protesters are concerned about risks to health and the environment. The French case highlights the contradictions in EU chemical regulation: how can lobbying interests and loopholes override official bans across Europe?
