The war in Ukraine has now dragged on for 48 months, reaching a military stalemate and a diplomatic deadlock. With the US having become an unreliable partner, Europe is worried for its security and has tried to plug the gap left by the United States' withdrawal of financial aid to the country. But first, it needs to have a seat at the table.
